What Is a Loaded Bible?
|
A Loaded Bible is a Bible that has been intentionally marked, organized, and filled with tools to help you find truth fast—right when you need it most.
It’s not about changing Scripture. It’s about interacting with it. Think:
and more like a daily, living guide you actually use. |
This doesn’t have to be perfect. |
Why I Started (and Why I Love It)
I didn’t start this for anyone else.
I started it for me.
I needed a place to go when life felt loud… when I needed truth quickly, clearly, personally. Not just something to read, but something to hold onto. So I began marking my Bible—highlighting verses, adding notes, creating little tip-ins that spoke directly to what I was walking through.
It became more than a Bible.
It became a conversation. A lifeline. A place where I could come back to truth again and again.
Then, like most things in my life, it didn’t stay just mine.
I made one for my daughter as she stepped into marriage—wanting her to have something steady in a season that’s beautiful, but also new and stretching. A place she could go for wisdom, encouragement, and reminders of what love really looks like when it’s rooted in Christ.
And then… baseball.
Because if there’s one place where identity gets tested, it’s on the field. I started building one for my son—something he could flip open in the dugout, after a tough inning, before a big moment. Something that would ground him when the game tries to define him.
And then it spread to his teammates. His friends. These boys I’ve watched grow up, compete, struggle, and push through.
And that’s when it hit me--
This isn’t just a project.
It’s a way to place truth directly into the moments that matter most.
I love it because it’s personal.
I love it because it’s practical.
I love it because it meets people exactly where they are.
And maybe most of all…
I love it because it’s something they’ll carry long after the season ends.
