We really like the museum. Upstairs there were lots of paintings about baseball. My baby brother just kept saying base-ball whenever he would see a ball in the picture. That was funny. My sister told the man at the desk that he sure had "some amazing paintings." He thought that was kind of funny.
They thought it was sort of funny too when we asked them if they played fetch with the big dinosaurs after the museum closed like in Night at the Museum. They said sure, but I don't think that they really do. maybe
We walked around the museum while we waited and looked at all the neat cool stuff. My sister liked the old dresses, but that part wasn't totally open yet.
When it was time we went back to explore-a-tarium and we played with trains and looked at bones and eggs... then it was time to sit and listen to the story. There were a bunch of kids there and we all sat on nap mats to listen to the story. It was a story about baseball (by Alex Rodriguez). A boy practices a lot to be really good at baseball and his team won the championship. It was a good story.
After that we went into the room and made a pennant with our names on it. We got to decorate them however we wanted. Then we got a stick to put them on so that we could wave them around. My brother waved his too much outside and my dad had to run fast to chase it down before the wind blew it across the street. My brother was screaming, almost crying and my dad took off running... he caught it though.
When we were almost done decorating the pennants, they brought us cookies and juice as a bedtime snack. We ate cookies and hadn't even had supper yet. That was fun.
