You should think of more things to make with potato chips...

I asked my mom to put this on the blog tonight. What she made for dinner was just too awesome! It is totally one of my all time favorites.

Here's how she did it: I sort of modified a recipe that I found on kraftfoods.com (http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/tasty-tuna-casserole-89320.aspx)

Here's What You Need to Make Tasty Tuna Casserole
1 pkg. (7-1/4 oz.) KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Deluxe Dinner
1 can  (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of celery
cans  (5 oz.) tuna, drained
1/2 cup chopped red peppers
3   green onion, sliced
1/2 cup onion chopped
2 cups frozen peas and carrots
1 cup crushed potato chips

Here's How you Make it

HEAT oven to 350°F.

PREPARE Dinner as directed on package. Stir in soup, milk, tuna, peppers and onions. I put the onions, peppers, carrot and onions in the boiling water with the pasta for the last few minutes.

SPOON into 2-qt. casserole; top with crushed chips.

BAKE 30 min. or until heated through.

You should totally make i

Picking Apples

Picking apples during a severe drought isn't as much fun as when the fruit is bigger and the land is happier. We had fun just being together as a family though.

Check the website for details about annual festivals, specials and picking times...

Kids to the Game

Going to a football game is one of the coolest things we've done! We loved it. There were a few times that it got a little slow, but there was still so much to do - watching the big screens, doing cheers...! Going to the Fan Day at the Athletics department invited us to, we met all of the players and learned a little about them too. It was awesome to see them having a good time - and winWe had a great time. Guns Up!
This game was right before our YFL season started so it was fun listening to my dad teach us about the rules of football before we got started again.  We mainly talked about the basics:The object of the game is to score more points than the opposing team within a set time of “four quarters” by taking the ball over the opponents “end zone”. Score points: by touchdown (6 points), field goal (3 points), two-point conversion (2 points), extra point (1 point) and safety (2 points).

Different player “positions” have different jobs, but all players on the team work together to move the ball. For each ten yards “gained”, the team is awarded another chance to continue advancing. Teams are given four “downs’ to accomplish this. They keep “possession” of the ball as long as they continue to advance at least ten yards by the end of the fourth down. The opposing team meanwhile is trying to prevent this in order to gain possession of the ball and advance toward the opposite goal line to score. Typically, possession of the ball goes back and forth between teams several times each “half”.

After watching the first episode of Nickelodean iCarly, where the main character decides to do a web show, my kids decided that they would like to do a "show". Choosing to share our experiences with others, sounded like a really fun idea.

After going to a restaurant or on an outing, we talk about how we felt about it and what we each think and then we share those thoughts and ideas with you.
