Family Vacation : Day 11 a Toy Story

We walked for what seemed like miles in the summer heat to see the famed toy store. The kids drug their feet a bit and made comments like,  "I sure hope it's worth it." The kids did stop to humor their mother and take a photo before going in.

Once inside we were in awe. It was difficult to keep us all together.  Every one wanted to go see "their part" of the store.  We built a custom remote controlled car, hugged Spiderman,  and danced on the BIG piano.

Each child got to pick out a toy (with a price limit) from FAO as a momento. From the second we hit the door the race was in to discover the perfect take home toy. Mom almost cried when the only girl chose nail polish instead of a toy, but she helped the oldest son build the car and everyone left a little bit more excited.

After watching the first episode of Nickelodean iCarly, where the main character decides to do a web show, my kids decided that they would like to do a "show". Choosing to share our experiences with others, sounded like a really fun idea.

After going to a restaurant or on an outing, we talk about how we felt about it and what we each think and then we share those thoughts and ideas with you.
