Going to eat Thanksgiving in Pep, we weren't really sure what we were going to do. We just kept driving and driving... it seemed liked forever and we were starting to get hungry. When we got there a lady from the TV station was there doing a story about the Thanksgiving meal. My mom know the lady and we thought that was sort of cool. She was asking people questions and getting to know all about the holiday festivities. Here is the story she did for KCBD.com http://www.kcbd.com/story/16118986/pep-texas-celebrates-66-years-of-thanksgiving Once we got inside and started to smell all of that yummy food, we thought that the waiting in line was probably going to be worth it. We got our plates and filled them up - it was awesome! Sausage and turkey, potatoes and gravy, rolls and dessert - and lots of other stuff too! Then we saw our friends the Demels. Our dad has been friends with them forever and they are always so nice to us and so happy to see us. Amanda squeezes us when she hugs us and that is real nice. When we got back to the car we asked if we could go back to Pep the next day too... our parents just laughed and told us that it's only Thanksgiving in Pep once a year! |

Our mom had us pick out clothes that "went together" and then we went to a few places around town to take pictures together. It was really lot better than going to a studio like we did last year. That was sort of boring. We got to play in the leaves, do a few silly things and run around some. The pictures came out really nice too! |
AuthorsAfter watching the first episode of Nickelodean iCarly, where the main character decides to do a web show, my kids decided that they would like to do a "show". Choosing to share our experiences with others, sounded like a really fun idea. SuscribeConnectArchives
