I love This Town

Tonight at Girl Scouts, we made posters about why we love the town where we live. The posters are going to be part of our decoration for our float at the annual Lions Club Harvest Festival this month. We all talked about the same things on our posters - the fun we have at our different activities and the friends that we have here. It's a pretty great place to live!

Texas Tech EQUESTRIAN Center

We went to the Texas Tech Equestrian Center with our Girl Scout Troop to earn the new horsemanship badge. It was amazing all of the things that they do there - competitions and therapy for kids. I had a great time learning about the center and their horses.

The best part was getting to ride one of the horses!

After watching the first episode of Nickelodean iCarly, where the main character decides to do a web show, my kids decided that they would like to do a "show". Choosing to share our experiences with others, sounded like a really fun idea.

After going to a restaurant or on an outing, we talk about how we felt about it and what we each think and then we share those thoughts and ideas with you.
