After a great day with baseball awards, a few errands, birthday parties, a golf tournament, swimming at a friends house... the whole family went out to eat for dinner. We were looking for something fresh and low-key, since we looked like we'd had a full day playing - if you know what I mean. We agreed on McAlisters deli on 19th Street. - Mom

McAlisters looks really good. Their pictures and stuff were all over the walls, pictures of people and teams and food. Those were cool. I really like the ones of the famous singer.
When you come in, you order at the counter and then go sit down, hang your order number on the stand on the table. Then the guys bring the food out to you.
Seperating the tables are some curtains that my baby brother started playing peek-a-boo with the people on the otherside. That was a little embarrasing, but the other people were like college kids and they were laughing with him.
Entertainment
We just talked to each other and watch the baby tease the college kids. There wasn't much else to do while we waited on the food come come.
Menu
The kids menu has a bunch of choices, like sandwhiches, mac and cheese, and even nachos, but the menu was hanging from the celing behind the counter and it was kind of hard to see because we're pretty short. The tables had paper menus on them all, but we didn't see those until we ordered and went to sit down.

The kids items all came with a small package of Teddy Grahams and the mac and cheese come with a side item too. "The pita pizza was really good with lots of cheese and sauce," Preston said. Even though it was different from the pizza I'm used to, it was awesome. "The cheese sauce on the nachos were hot and cheesy, said Clayton. It even had some good tomatoes in it. Addison and Trenton ordered Mac and Cheese and cleaned their plates.
The sweet tea was voted the best part by all of us... it was so good!
Price
Mom and Dad said the price was right. It only costs .99 for a kids meal when you dine-in. Our whole family ate for about $20.
Service
When we got to the resturant around 7pm, there weren't many people there, but after they brought our food it started to get busy. The waiter forgot to bring my brother a fork and we had to go take out cups and ask for refills. The waiter did come back over and appolgize for forgetting the fork, which was cool.
We actually forgot to order food for my little brother and when the waiter brought the food to the table, we asked him if he could help us. It was awesome because he said sure, took our money at the table, and brought the food right back. Our baby brother was happy about that. So were we!

We would really like to go back. Great sweet tea and a helpful waiter, plus awesome food... it's a keeper!
